okay, let's talk about this for a second.
it's been awhile since I actually read that post, but if I recall correctly, OP (as in the reddit OP not the one who posted the screenshot) was treating his subs really badly, not communicating with them well, and focusing on controlling them outside the bounds of what had been properly negotiated. the subs basically got tired of being treated like shit and banded together to demand respect for their boundaries and as human beings.
problem one: no relationship should require the subs(s) to demand respect from their dom(s), let alone need to fucking unionise to get it. a good dom will always treat their sub(s) well and their boundaries with utmost respect. any request to change something, slow down, or stop something that hasn't been negotiated in advance as okay to refuse must always be honoured. when this isn't the case, it's just a shitty dom using kink as a vehicle or excuse to abuse or mistreat people.
problem two: even when his subs unionised, OP didn't immediately grant the respect they were demanding. instead, he went to reddit to ask people what he should do. and in that post he very clearly said that he didn't want to grant that respect, and expressed a sort of dismay at it being demanded of him. I'm not sure what he eventually did, but his initial refusal to respect them and actively wanting to continue disrespecting them is awful.
This is abuse and it isn't fucking funny.
