guys my electricity is out AGAIN but here's a sneak peak of the Secret Obsession fic in case I don't get to finish it tonight:

He takes you to the master bedroom - a sprawling, wood panelled room with a huge fireplace and a balcony that looks out onto the trees.

"You should see the view in winter," he murmurs as he sets you down. "White and sky as far as the eye can see."

You're keenly aware of him - every touch, every breath. His cologne is thick in your nose.

"I can think of better things to do in here than look at the trees," you say softly.

He tilts his head. "And what would those be?"

You still have your arms hooked around his neck. You pull him closer to you, until his hands come to rest on the bed.

"Is this where we had our wedding night?"

He freezes up and then nods.

"And did we enjoy it?"

"Yes," he answers, breathless.

"Not fair that only one of us remembers it, is it?"

Your brush your lips against his. Not exactly a kiss, but very close.

He stops breathing.

this is my favourite one yet!! There's something so sweet about seeing him asleep. You can almost forget who he is and what he's done. I LOVE the fur on his coat, very Russian. And I especially love that his hair is swept back, the same way he'd wear it in uniform. And those few strands that escaped his gel?? Just shows how hard he's been working for you.

This feels like a snapshot from your life together. One of those moments where you can almost forgive him for what he's done.

March 2025 - Writing Wrapped

Hi guys! In the interest of transparency and because I'm a slut for good data, I thought I'd share my writing stats for the month.

Yandere Soldier - Man/Monster

I once wrote about nice guy yanderes and how they're almost worse than straight bastards. How kissing your tears away doesn't make up for causing them. I think Yandere Soldier falls in a category of his own, somewhere between the nice guy and the bastard.

He can be as mean as any of my worst yans, but he holds himself back. He's self aware, but not to the point that it's going to stop him. He knows you don't want this - a scarred mountain of flesh keeping you from the world, a stranger between your thighs - but he can't let you go.

He knows he's hurting you, and he tries his best to disguise that hurt. The question is, does that really make him any less of a monster?

my process is pretty unoptimised (i do all my writing on mobile shush) so do take it with a grain of salt.

I don't like writing directly on tumblr because I've accidentally refreshed the page and lost my work about a bajillion times. Instead, I write all my stuff in my notes app and then convert it to html using this site.

Next, I create a new tumblr post, click on the settings option and choose HTML from the Text Editor options.

Paste your html code and voila, fic exported easily with formatting still in place.

That's it. There's probably a better way to do it, but that's what works for me.

Yandere Private Military Contractor and Yandere Riot Cop definitely do it the most. I think it's a combination of strength and skill - they have plenty of training and experience that let's them maneuver you in all sorts of ways. And they aren't afraid of hurting you either. They want you like this instead of that? One pinch or tug in the right place and you're already flipped right over. It's almost second nature to them.

I think some of the others have the strength to do it, but since they don't have the same level of training, they just sort of brute force it. Just pick you up and sling you over their shoulder whenever you're being a brat. Yandere Cowboy and Yandere Greek Champion for sure fall in this category.

And then you have the guys who are actually really sweet about it. Strong guys who don't actually want to hurt you. They manhandle you for your own benefit almost. Feet sore after wearing heels for too long? They're carrying you home whether you want it or not. You don't wanna share the blanket? They'll physically pick you up and put you on their lap so you have no choice but to be generous. Yandere Boyfriend and Yandere Gladiator definitely top this category.

I'd like to! I'm just a bit busy with other projects. My current writing goal is to write everyday and post at least five days a week, so I don't really have the time to sit down and work on misery. I'm also like... really bad at staying committed to a long term fic. Man, how am I supposed to hold onto a boyfriend when I can't even hold onto prolonged exposition? Gonna work on it soon. Hopefully. If nothing else comes up. And if I don't feel the urge to write another 12k smut.

Truth is, I write in a lot of different styles and not everything I write is going to be appealing to everyone. That's perfectly fine. That's not going to stop me from experimenting and trying new things.

Writing is something I enjoy and want to get better at. Naturally, that means I'm going to fall on my face a whole lot. I'm going to write pieces that are boring or cliche or trite. And that's just part of the process.

It's perfectly fine if you don't like every single piece I put out. For instance, I'm a pretty big Stephen King fan but there have definitely been times where I picked up one his books just to abandon it later on. It just wasn't for me and that's understandable.

I'll be continuing the Yandere Movie Week regardless, because I'm having fun with it. It let's me yap about fun movies with my readers, and it's a lot less pressure intensive and time consuming compared to my longer stuff.

I want to write often and I want to write a lot. That means writing stuff I enjoy, even if it isn't going to get a ton of notes. It's also the reason I post as often as I do - writing isn't easy, heaven above knows, but it is fun. Not what hemingway or dostoyevsky would say, but it's true for me.

I would like to point out that I'm not neglecting the yandere outlaw fic, because it isn't actually a series. The yandere outlaw fic is a one shot. I wrote the extra drabbles because I love my readers and I love answering their questions. I do have a few more drabbles planned for the outlaws, but not as part of any series.

It's up to you if you'd like to skip the rest of yandere movie week. I won't hold it against you. I've only done one fic and two reviews so far, so this is honestly just the beginning.

Lastly, I'd just like to say that I'm appreciative of all the feedback I get, positive or negative. The only way I'll get better as a writer is if I know where I'm going wrong.

Yandere Movie Week [review]

Day 2 - Secret Obsession (2019)

Yandere Score: 9/10

Overall Score: 6/10

I hate to only give this movie a 6/10, because I really enjoyed it.

But it's the kind of fun, turn-your-brain-off flick best enjoyed with ice cream and zero critical thinking skills.

The premise is solid - our heroine Jennifer (Brenda Song) wakes up with amnesia after being chased down by a masked killer. A great set up for tension, and a pretty classic intro to a thriller.

this is such a cute ask anon. Hmmm, I think he's honestly the mother hen type.

"Don't forget to leave some clothes in a bush in case the clouds come out, 'kay?"

"Are you paws fine? No road rash?"

"Babe, you've got blood all over your face. C'mere, let me take care of it."

"Quit trying to chew my sneakers goddammit I just bought those!"

"Maybe I should get us some tick and flea powder? Y'know, just in case."

snail i need to write a 10k word fic expeditiously because this is such a great set up. Especially if the dispatcher is on the line with you the entire time, calm and sweet but getting a bit more pushy the longer you talk to him. All, "Where are you now sweetheart?" and then immediately radio-ing the cop your exact location.

I think I should honestly do a second yandere movie week, because there's a TON of great movies I've missed. And also, how haven't I done a proper emo yandere on this blog? Shameful. The MCR fangirl in me is devastated

oooh I love seeing your guys' face claims for characters. Don't really have more planned for him though. Kinda wanna leave the ending a bit more open to interpretation. In terms of Stephen King though, I've got quite a bit on my mind. Starting with a yandere Joyland and maybe a yander Pet Semetary.
