I get the "what characters inspired [insert character here]" question a lot!

Here's some of em! I was gonna elaborate on each one but I'm lazy hahahaha. I feel like most of them are fairly obvious. Most of these are design-wise but some are based on vibes, or personality. Though a lot of the time a character's vibe and their design go hand in hand.

Seconds before Zira absolutely flubs it (after hearing the words "i love you" coming from Aika even though she meant it in a friend way)

This is the only time Zira looks cool. I want athletic loser nerd representation so baaaad (because that was me growing up). I was bouncing around the idea of Zira being REALLY good at a sport but was struggling to find the right one. My gf suggested tennis and I loved the idea! She's the best at school but no one actually really cares smh. Her tennis racket doubles as a weapon for when she's gotta help Aika fight!

She's got a ton of tattoos. They're in places where she can hide them under a tshirt and shorts and most of them are floral. All of the characters have space motifs (stars, moons, voids, black holes) and for Miss I went with Earth with her green and blue palette. Thought it'd be fitting if all her tattoos were nature based
