i don't know if people necessarily understand the hostility you experience as a teenage girl like one time in high school a boy was stalking me and i wanted to ignore him but my parents wanted him to stop calling my house nine times a day because they found it annoying so we went to talk to the vice principal about it. so the vice principal told me "i see here you got a creative writing award. so you like to make things up, do you?" and then he told the school councilor we were a couple who were fighting and they put us in high school couples therapy and i kept being like we aren't a couple and they kept being like just give him a chance to save your relationship and i was like i think i am just going to ignore him thanks then later i talked to some older girls about it and they were like yeah that boy does this over and over. he's done it like 5 times. the school office keeps trying to force different girls to date him
