I really loved these prompts and this challenge was SO much fun and so rewarding. I really feel like a better artist having done this. Jokes aside, I really love how this came out. Magnus- finally- finally- looks like Magnus. I love the shape of his hair and the way the background fades into unimportant details and draw your eyes to the characters. We’ve come a long way from the muddied background and foreground of my second piece! And we’re almost done!! This time tomorrow, I will have finished showing you all my first and only successfully completed inktober! I still got a lot more stuff to show you, though. Stay tuned!

Inktober 2023 Day 27: Beast- The Owl House
A little guy! A little guy.
Oh embodiment of chronic illness- you are so cute. Stop causing half of my friends pain please. I want them to feel happy and healthy.
But if that’s not possible, if you must hurt- I hope you show this side to each of my friends so that they can accept you like Eda did. Many of them already have, and as much as it makes me sad that they are hurting, I am glad to know them- and you along with them. Their disability is a part of them I also love.

This scene, like Ford- grabbed me and wouldn’t let go until I UNDERSTOOD. So naturally I had to draw it.
I uh- may have finished the lineart and immediately hyperfixated on coloring and lighting this until it was like 2am?? But that’s okay. I love this fic- please read it (as long as you are fine with the heavy stuff tagged).

Inktober 2023 Day 25: Dangerous- The Magnus Archives
Statement begins:
Sometimes, you just hate what you’re drawing at every stage in the process. This is one of those times. The best part about this piece is that even though I didn’t like how it turned out, I put pen to paper and completed the prompt. I should post more Magnus stuffs here so you can see what these gay lovers look like when I like drawing them .
