i might need a therapist to help me quit my therapist and I AM a therapist

i did it! i quit her! and also i am…indeed…one of the autistic ones… it took 29 years, a bunch of wrong diagnosis, 5 years of psychology school, working with autistic women as a therapist, a lot of money and me and my mom’s stubbornness for me to get here. but yeah. wild. the last straw was my therapist of eight years still questioning my diagnosis after a bunch of tests and the psychiatrists confirmation. crazy huh.

some of y’all bout to be real mad at me. but it must be said. some of the shit u call corny/cringy is actually just genuine/cute/sweet and y’all r just afraid of expressing any type of positive emotion

Honestly one of the main reasons to assume Luigi Mangione was framed by the NYPD is that the UHC shooter not only had no reason to carry around a manifesto, he had no reason to even write a manifesto. He said his piece loud and clear with the bullet casings and the monopoly money. Everyone understood it and the shooter knew that would be the case.

I mean the main reason to assume this is that the NYPD are worthless dipshits who never do any fucking work they just parasitically sponge off of the wasted money of American taxpayers like a tape worm

Reading articles about MrBeast's dominance of YouTube is fucking bizarre because, from my perspective, the dude isn't even on YouTube. I've never watched one of his videos. YouTube has, to the best of my knowledge, never recommended one of his videos to me. Every thumbnail screenshot of his looks like something you could tell me was a photoshopped parody of YouTube culture, and I'd believe you. No one I follow on YouTube ever mentions him, even negatively or in passing. The first time I ever heard his name was in regards to the quality of his ghost kitchens. The only way I know he isn't a mass, shared hallucination is that I've witnessed the thoroughly mid-looking chocolate bars he sells at Walmart for some reason

What, for you, is the association of black and dreaming? Black has depth. It's like a little egress; you can go into it, and because it keeps on continuing to be dark, the mind kicks in, and a lot of things that are going on in there become manifest. And you start seeing what you're afraid of. You start seeing what you love, and it becomes like a dream.

they need to let me in the criterion closet. they’re missing out by not letting average people off the street just walk into that closet and grab a couple of freebies let me INNNNN i can be funny sometimes and insightful occasionally i think i deserve it.

would genuinely watch hours of random strangers picking their criterion faves though. why do all the celebrities get the free dvds they have so much money and they don’t deserve them anyway because we all know celebrities aren’t ensouled.

“Fyp” we don’t do that here. I mean, Tumblr the app and website tries, but we don't do that here.

“But then how will anyone see it?” peer review.

“How do you get engagement?” by talking and engaging with other people. Or making a devastating typo. Either way.

“But—” Listen, you’re not doing solo stand up anymore. This is a group improv class being held in a SAW dungeon. Good luck.

one of the most frustrating things about the neil gaiman situation (and others like it) is people who were fans immediately moving to a different person to idolise ('well, at least we still have x author' or 'please tell me y author is still a good person') and in this situation specifically, 'terry pratchett would be furious'. no!!! you do not know!!!you have no idea whether terry pratchett or any author you like was/is a predator! you cannot take a situation in which a man's public persona as a feminist and supporter of women allowed him to prey on vulnerable women without suspicion and then look at all the other men who portray themselves as good people and say 'well, these ones are still okay though.' just stop idolising celebrities!!!!!!!
