woah i haven’t posted in a year who is this????
HEY THERE Y’ALL it’sa me,mario.nick! remember when i didn’t do nano last year and then stopped posting?? haha…. aha…. yeah me neither. a quick refresher on me: i’m nick, i’m turning 19 in less than a month, i use he/him pronouns (or he/they if ur trans/nb) and i’m fromhellaustralia!
wait its been a year, what are you writing again??
TEETH MARKS: two siblings are left orphaned months into the apocalypse and are eventually forced to move on from where they had been staying. in the process of trying to cross the country for the only place they know could be safe, they meet two more survivors and the four of them attempt to survive together. and to not be eaten.
mostly just teeth marks, honestly. revamping it for nano but maybe after that you’ll see some of my older wips come back! i miss them dearly but they are a mess.

oops, i said i would do weekly nano updates and then i didn’t!
(because i stopped doing nano after day 3)
here’s the thing: nano is not for me. not only do i have adhd but i’m also chronically ill. i will not be able to write everyday, or even most days, if i put myself into a position where i'm forcing myself to.
but that’s okay! in those three days i got a killer 10k in that i feel really good about, and i’m finally in a space now, on the 25th of november, that i can write a bit more. you’re not going to reach every goal you set. you’re not going to smash nano out of the park every single year. hell, i don’t smash nano out of the park any year! i never have, and i probably never will.
am i going to stop doing nano and both camp nanos every year? of course not! it’s fun and i love engaging with the community. but if you don’t want to or can’t do nano? fuck it! write when and how you want to. i believe in you.

it’s a pretentious poetry collection that i wrote in 24 hours! these poems all mean a lot to me and i’m honestly pretty scared to put this all out there but it feels right so i’m doing it!
snippets:
an existence that isnt good nor bad there is a word that escapes me in between; a grey area
my bones are brittle. my blood runs dry. my fingertips are purple and my throat is full of frogs. i am sick, they say. always sick.
if you make puzzle of stolen pieces, it will never be finished. a spot always missing, pieces unconnected. because stolen puzzle pieces cannot make a full puzzle.
