Some traditional doodles/studies from february

Recently I tried to learn how to paint with watercolor and what better to use for lineart. I found the little tutorial on pin to test it, but was too lazy to sketch a proper bird, so each bird became a wonky birb instead. They kinda crack me up xD
1. The ink wasn't waterproof so it bled.
2. It was a liner pen, but I forgot how to use it, so the lines were as wonky as birb.
3. I used colored pencils and so far this is the best way for me to do lineart.
Now I need to actually be patient enough to let each layer dry completely so I avoid blooms.
Got myself a travel journal, even though I'm 100% homebody, but I like the format and the design of it. I put the ring with engraved Francis Drake's motto "Sic Parvis Magna"( from Uncharted) on the journal.
I think Hayden would have a similar journal for his travels, maybe smaller and with less brass accessories.

Bought new monitor but it isn't compatible with my old imac, so it can't work with a higher resolution than 1080p. Thankfully I had my mini pc, so now I gotta get used to work on it.
Drew those to slowly get back to drawing digitally.
(Also, I don't think I'll be able to do a HN update, since I didn't drew a page since the last update)
