A Grim Fandango poster that I worked to death (no pun intended…okay, it was kinda intended, whatever). Had to abandon this one because no matter what I did it just never worked how I wanted it to. I think the initial comp had promise but it all just fell flat after that. C'est la vie.

Maybe one day I'll revisit this idea. The "sprouted" skulls are pretty cool at least. That's something.

My book is finally announced! Costume Quest: Invasion of the Candy Snatchers is an original story set in the Costume Quest universe which I'm creating with Double Fine and Oni Press.

This weekend, I'm taking a couple days off from my book (it's about half-finished!) and on this Saturday, April 5th from 2-10pm EST I'll be playing wrestling video games with my friend Brad Bravely (twitch.tv/bradbravely)! Whipped this up on my lunch break to let everybody know I'm not dead.

Been thinking about Skull Kid and Majora's Mask. The more I think about it, the more I realize what a wonderful game it really is in context of the series. It's a game about alienation, loneliness and the importance of friendship, and in its own strange way it just may be the saddest and most personal Zelda game.

Little morning warm up drawing feat. some characters from Night in the Woods, Alec Holowka and Scott Benson's amazing looking game which you should back on Kickstarter. Because if you follow me, I can assume you like sentimentality, romance, wonderment and video games so there's a pretty much a 100% chance that you're going to buy this game anyway.

Mega Evolutions

Well, I've decided that it's been long enough and I finally need to do the thing I've been dreading--go public concerning my absence for the last two months. Honestly, it's all good news! I've just been dreading having to face the music for my long hiatus.

First things first, I'll be posting more comics on here and SOON! If this is where you care to stop reading, that's cool...but for my fans, I'd like to offer a little more info about what I've been up to and take a little look into the future of Magical Game Time!
