I have returned from the grave lol with this little abstract art zine :) it was really fun cutting up the pieces I made and turning them into something new. in future I'd like to make a more ambitious one but this was nice to get myself back in the game after a long (for me lol) hiatus. hope you enjoy :)
here are 3 abstracts that I made for my abstract art zine :) I wanted to show them off before I cut them into pieces for the zine hehe. I'm having a lot of fun with these alcohol markers that I've barely used since I bought them; it's been nice to have a fun excuse to use them. I can't wait to see how the zine itself turns out! :)
another little zine I made in the middle of the night! thanks, insomnia! this one's all about failure, something I have a ton of experience with and almost no emotional resilience for. I'm working on it lol and wanted to briefly talk about it in a zine. might make a full size zine on this topic at some point, but for now, hope you enjoy the mini zine! :)
erasure/blackout poetry zine!! this one was so much fun, even though the poems themselves tend toward depressing imagery or subject matter. I need to figure out how to make printable PDFs of my zines so I can make more interactive bits like in this one and share them more easily! I really encourage you to try making erasure poetry out of anything you have access to, whether that's old poetry books from school, or prose books you own that you don't like or don't read anymore, or even writing your own poetry to use! hope you enjoy :)
I am (sort of) back lol, we have been home from our trip for a couple of days now and I am starting to get back into the swing of things. right now I'm working on a zine that won't be posted here (it's for my beloved <3 ) but I am also slowly working on a zine about my chronic illness which I most likely will be posting. there are gonna be some content warnings on that one lol. I might also make another poll to help me determine what topic to work on next because I am kind of overwhelmed by my huge list of zine topics (-‿-") which is a good problem to have! but it is still a bit of a problem lol. anyways hope you all are doing well :) I can't wait to share more zines with you!!
