Hey BatJokers!

I’d like to start by saying, Happy New Year! And a big thank you to all who have contributed to BatJokes January!

It feels really great seeing people make art and fanfic using the silly prompts I posted. I’ve been seeing so many new creators and I really want to thank you all for what you do (go like and reblog evry1!!!).

I had originally set the high and unrealistic expectation of creating a fully lined, colored, and shaded drawing every day for every prompt (this piece alone took me over 6 hours, what was I thinking…). However, some unexpected personal responsibilities have arisen, which have created limits on my time and productivity (yay!). It might be easier for me to post only once a week, doing most of the prompts on the weekends and posting them later.

But I feel like I’ve let you guys down, and I want to apologize for that. I deeply appreciate the BatJokes community (which is why I started this project in the first place), and I really want to put as much time and effort as possible into it.

Sorry for the ramble—I hope you enjoy BatJokes January to the fullest! Use #batjokes january, and don’t forget to like and reblog your fellow creators!
