It's a church; it's not a parish or parish church, but for Catholics, a church is a place with an altar where Masses are held, along with other sacraments and liturgies. A shrine is a special type (subtype) of church.Elizium23 (talk) 09:11, 16 January 2023 (UTC)- On closer inspection, the Shrine has a Chapel, and so while it is a sacred place where Masses are held, I suppose that canonically it is not considered a full-fledged church, but instead a different type of sacred place.
