[edit]Formatter URL
[edit]There appears to have been some confusion about the formatter URL. When this property was proposed and created in 2014, it was http://svenskfotboll.se/allsvenskan/person/?playerid=$1. On 10 July 2017, that was changed to http://svenskfotboll.se/allsvenskan/person/?fplid=$1. After some research, I discovered that these are different URL formats for the same person (for examples see http://svenskfotboll.se/allsvenskan/person/?playerid=8058 and http://svenskfotboll.se/allsvenskan/person/?fplid=554372). The playerid is a four-digit number and fplid is a six-digit number. Out of 1599 uses in Wikidata, only six contained the fplid. I corrected those six, changed the formatter URL back to playerid, and changed the format constraint to only allow four-digit numbers. I also corrected a few articles on svwiki and itwiki that used the incorrect ID numbers: sv:Mall:Svenskfotboll had two out of 1633 transclusions and it:Template:Svenskfotboll had six corrected out of 114. Finally, I created en:Template:Svenskfotboll which uses and tracks this property at enwiki. -- Zyxw (talk) 19:36, 15 August 2017 (UTC)
- @Zyxw: Hi! I've just restored the previous situation because your formatter URL with the four-digit "fplid" works no longer. Moreover, I've noticed that the six-digit "playerid" is in fact Fogis.se player ID (P5038), so maybe this property is to be deleted and replaced by that. What's your opinion? --Epìdosis 17:55, 9 September 2018 (UTC)
@Zyxw, Epìdosis: Looks like it’s changed again. The six-digit identifiers now work with a formatter URL like this: https://www.svenskfotboll.se/spelarfakta/390239/ I have updated the formatter URL accordingly. For the old format there’s now identifiers that look like a 128-bit UUID (but I couldn’t find these for all players): https://www2.svenskfotboll.se/cuper-och-serier/information/?fplid=20982122-bb49-4d89-aaec-d4f71a87711c&scr=player&instant=1 –Kooma (talk) 14:22, 23 April 2019 (UTC)
