What's the relationship between "Belarus" and "Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (Q2895)"? If they're considered the same entity (for Wikidata purposes), shouldn't all statements from there be moved to this item? If not, shouldn't the statements referencing events before the entity existed be modified or removed? --Yair rand (talk) 09:43, 12 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

BSSR is a part of Soviet Union in 1922-1991. Belarus is a sovereign country (state) from 1991, but is successor and assign of BSSR. --Infovarius (talk) 13:48, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]
@Infovarius: So, did the entity for this item come into existence on August 25, 1991? If so, "Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic" should be added as an alias, as that was still its name until September 19 of that year. Or, if it was a date after that, then "Republic of Belarus" should be added to the item for the BSSR. Or, if it was on the date of the renaming, either BSSR should be stated to have been a sovereign state for a time at the end, or Belarus (Q184) should be stated to have been a part of the Soviet Union for a time at the beginning. (I'm not completely clear on the facts for this. I'm getting all my info from the Wikipedia articles.) Either way, if they are considered separate entities, Byelorussian Soviet Socialist Republic (Q2895) needs an end date for its UN membership and this item needs an appropriate start date for its membership. 1945 can't be correct if it didn't exist then. --Yair rand (talk) 23:01, 16 December 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Russian Language Institute (Q1381038)? National Academy of Sciences of Belarus (Q1967977)? For example, term "Республика Беларусь", "Беларусь" - term of Belarus (Q184)'s Russian (Q7737) or Russia (Q159)'s Russian (Q7737). Who deside --Fractaler (talk) 11:32, 1 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
