@Jura1: Do you have a source that term Aryavrat meant or means India. It is OR, and it is my understanding that verifiability in reliable sources is required in wikidata as well. I am aware that the term Aryavrat appears in ancient Indian literature such as Manusmriti, but it was for a different region, not India. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 13:50, 4 June 2017 (UTC)
- It was reverted as it was removed at the same time as 🇮🇳. I restored that sequence only. It's a pair of regional indicator symbols for India.

- I have no objections to the flag if you wish to add it back, though it is odd to place it in "Also known as". It should be and is already in a parameter field. India is not known as Aryavrat in mainstream scholarship and reliable sources. Ms Sarah Welch (talk) 13:10, 8 June 2017 (UTC)
- 🇮🇳 meant to be a regional indicator symbol. Depending on the browser, it can look like "IN" or a flag icon. In lists, it sorts like "IN". Aliases are here to make things searchable, independently of statements holding the same name or abbreviation.
