Template:Every Politician/Legislature table row
Usage
[edit]At a minimum, a call to this template must include the Wikidata ID of the legislature (e.g. Scottish Parliament (Q206171)):
{{Every Politician/Legislature table row|id=Q206171}}
This will then include some basic information about it (e.g. the seat count).
Ideally, it should also be provided with the ID of the "Member of X" item (e.g. Member of the Scottish Parliament (Q1711695)):
{{Every Politician/Legislature table row
|id=Q206171
|member=Q1711695
}}
Then it can also include some basic SPARQL reports looking for gaps in that membership information.
Notes
[edit]Any information about known issues, what people are actively working on, unusual modelling decisions, etc, can also be supplied as notes:
{{Every Politician/Legislature table row
|id=Q206171
|member=Q1711695
|notes=Membership data believed complete (though using {{P|102}} rather than {{P|4100}}).
}}
Membership Lists
[edit]By convention, "Membership Lists" (usually Listeria-based reports of all of the members in a legislative term, or during a given period), are expected to be created at pages under /data/<legislature id>/<name>
— e.g. /Scotland/data/Q206171/1st_Scottish_Parliament. Anything following that structure will be automatically linked.
If a shortname
parameter (e.g. shortname=Senate
) is used for the legislature, it will be used instead of the legislature ID in that path — e.g. /Argentina/data/Senate/current. Once shortname
parameter has been specified the default queries will not be shown.
Prompts
[edit]Supply a list of prompts like so:
{{Every Politician/Legislature table row
|id=Q217799
|member=Q21100241
|prompts=
* [[/Riigikogu/prompts/official|official site]]
* etc…
}}
