Motivation
[edit]Gramophone (Q1542344) is a highly reputable and long-established publication. For many composers, its website has a wealth of reviews, and factual articles. Even for more obscure figures (as my third example shows) it has less, but still has a useful UID. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 18:46, 7 June 2020 (UTC)

- mezzo RegEx changed, ok now. There are just enough entries to make a property, but:
- There are errors on some of them, as you can see in example 4 that I added (error 404).
- Some composers have an article: the URL is no longer the same and the list of entries is further reduced.
- There are other entries, but they are empty of content. —Eihel (talk) 11:45, 18 June 2020 (UTC)
- Comment Hello Andy, Have you read my comment above? I do not know where you get your 1000 entries, there should be a reference to this statement, but I wrote that most of the entries are empty of content. In addition, when you put eventually complete (Q21873974), it means that one day, there will be no composer. As this magazine provides articles on contemporary composers, there will always be new composers. Cordially. —Eihel (talk) 05:26, 19 June 2020 (UTC)
- Please provide a link to the policy which you think means that property proposals require citations. Your claim "it means that one day, there will be no composer" is false. It is true that some (not most) of the entries are empty of content; I addressed that above - did you read my comment? - I reported the broken links (per example 4) to Gramophone; they are now fixed. Andy Mabbett (Pigsonthewing); Talk to Andy; Andy's edits 13:49, 22 June 2020 (UTC)
- Hello @Pigsonthewing:,
- In number of records (P4876)property constraint (P2302)citation-needed constraint (Q54554025), but it's a suggestion (by logic). —Eihel (talk) 18:24, 27 June 2020 (UTC)
