Description | temperature at which a polymer or plastic sample deforms under a specified load |
---|---|
Represents | heat deflection temperature (Q477481) |
Data type | Quantity |
Template parameter | This proprety request is part of the project of creating an infobox for materials. |
Domain | Physical and mechanical property of stainless steel (Q172587). |
Allowed values | Any number. under pressure (P2077) shall be mandatory |
Allowed units | K, °C, °F |
Example 1 | acrylonitrile butadiene styrene (Q143496) → 88 °C with determination method or standard (P459) → ISO 75-2 and under pressure (P2077) → 1,80 MPa |
Example 2 | nylon 6 (Q109454) → 60 °C with determination method or standard (P459) → ISO 75-2 and under pressure (P2077) → 1,80 MPa |
Example 3 | polycarbonate (Q62246) → 130 °C with determination method or standard (P459) → ISO 75-2 and under pressure (P2077) → 1,80 MPa |

Planned use | Creating an infobox for materials |
Motivation
This is part of the project of creating an infobox for materials. Classical property of polymers. An injection molded plastic part is considered "safe" to remove from its mold once it is near or below the HDT. --Thibdx (talk) 14:44, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
Discussion
- Comment Hmm, I think your description here in English at least is not correct. ArthurPSmith (talk) 17:36, 8 August 2018 (UTC)
