Wikiproxecto Libros

A finalidade do WikiProxecto Libros é:

  • definir un conxunto de propiedades que poden ser utilizadas tanto por por book infoboxes, modelos de libros de Commons, e Wikisource.
  • mapear e importar todo dato relevante existente en Commons, Wikipedia e Wikisource.
  • establecer métodos para interactuar con estes datos desde proxectos diferentes

Propiedades bibliográficas

Usamos o modelo Requisitos Funcionais para Rexistros Bibliográficos (FRBR, o famoso modelo conceptual utilizado en biblioteconomía) para dividir as propiedades dos libros en dous conxuntos. O modelo FRBR destaca o feito de que podes ver un libro de catro modos ou niveis diferentes: coma unha obra, coma unha expresión, coma unha manifestación ou coma un item.

Dentro dos proxectos Wikimedia, non necesitamos estes catro niveis: por exemplo, cando en Wikipedia hai un artigo sobre un libro, xeralmente é unha visión sobre "obra" (p.ex. a Biblia, Pinocho ou Hamlet están consideradas "obras creativas", á súa vez incorporadas en diversas traducións, edicións e medios).

En Wikisource, unha edición particular (ás veces, hai máis dunha) é utilizada para un libro. Ao existir diferentes Wikisources, tamén pode haber diferentes traducións.

Xa que non fai claras estas diferenzas, debe evitar usarse o elemento libro(book (Q571)) - véxase na páxina de conversa do elemento.

Para non complicar demasiado, non utilizamos os termos do FRBR "expresión" ou "manifestación", xa que o límite entre as definicións non é fácil de determinar. Así que utilizamos "edición" no seu lugar, sintetizando eses dous niveis de FRBR nun só (outros marcos conceptuais similares a FRBR como Bibframe tamén reúnen estas dúas definicións). Así, esta dupla definición obra - edición foi utilizada para crear propiedades de Libros.


Propiedades para elementos sobre obras

Estas propiedades son para o primeiro elemento que representa un libro (nivel de traballo do FRBR). Están pensadas para ser utilizadas en elementos ligados a páxinas de Wikipedia.

Estas propiedades son para o elemento que representa a edición dun libro (nivel de expresión ou manifestación do FRBR expresión/manifestation). Utilízanse principalmente para as edicións de libros usadas como fontes.

Ten en conta que cada edición dun libro debería ter un elemento Wikidata distinto. Se cambia o contido (prólogo, epílogo, ilustracións), a paxinación (número de páxinas), editor, ou o lugar da publicación, debería ser creado un novo elemento para a nova edición. Se un libro é unha reimpresión idéntica dunha edición anterior (sen cambios nas propiedades mencionadas), non é preciso crear un elemento novo.

Propiedades de manuscritos

Os manuscritos son copias únicas de obras literarias, así que un manuscrito non é o mesmo ca unha obra literaria. Todas as propiedades, como autor, data de publicación, etc., pertencen unicamente ao manuscrito. Todos os elementos de manuscrito necesitan instance of (P31): manuscript (Q87167). Hai algúns outros elementos máis comúns para caracterizar un manuscrito en combinación con instance of (P31), como codex (Q213924), literary fragment (Q1440453), ostracon (Q834459), miscellaneous manuscript (Q2217259), palimpsest (Q274076), Evangeliary (Q1754581), Gospel Book (Q690851) ou lectionary (Q284465). Cómpre especificar o material de escritura para made from material (P186): papyrus (Q125576), paper (Q11472), leather (Q286), parchment (Q226697) shard (Q1463658).

O editor ou editora, se hai é a persoa que publica o texto do manuscrito na primeira edición impresa. A publication date (P577) tamén pertence á primeira edición impresa. Para a data de creación do manuscrito úsase inception (P571). Cómpre escoller un nivel de precisión adecuado nos axustes avanzados. Escoller o lugar máis concreto para location (P276) (por exemplo, Cathedral of Santiago de Compostela (Q205136)); se non é posible, escoller a cidade onde está situado P195.
