So many people who get periods are like “Ugh it sucks that having a menstrual cycle makes you almost die every month” like no that’s not normal you need to go to the doctor
If any of your symptoms go beyond “just like, super annoying ugh whatever” levels you should probably go see a doctor about that
You should not feel so depressed you want to die, you should not be getting mood swings so bad that you become violent, your cramps should not be so bad that you can’t get out of bed, your period should not last more than a week, you should not be losing so much blood that you feel dizzy. Go to the doctor.

I always play with a starter and build my team around that but assuming I’m not playing w a specific starter and just making a team of some of my faves to use, then here:
Sylveon
Staraptor or Talonflame
Clodsire
Alolan Raichu or Luxray
Meowscarada or Skeledirge
Wailord or Floatzel
In the absence of a fire starter I would use Talonflame or Charizard. But I absolutely ADORE Staraptor so I will usually build my team so I can have them.
I also LOVE Alolan Raichu but if it isn’t available then I will use another electric like Luxray.
I really enjoyed both Meowscarada and Skeledirge as starters, so I’ve included them here as an either or depending on my mood.
I think I prefer floatzel over wailord but wailord looks so goofy I love having the giant whale take up half the screen xD
Overall my non-negotiables are Eevee -> Sylveon and Paldean Wooper -> Clodsire.
