Finnish Actress Wins Award at Black Nights Film Festival

Katja Kuttner has received the award for best female actress at the Black Nights Film Festival In Tallinn for her role in the Finnish film Princess. The film was directed by Arto Halonen.

Kuttner attended the award ceremony on Friday evening in order to receive her prize.

According to the organisers of the event, the Black Nights Film festival is the largest film festival within the Baltic region.

The film Princess has already attracted more than 270,000 film goers in Finland. It is based on the a true story of Anna Lappailainen, who was a long-term patient in the Kellokoski Mental Hospital, and who believed herself to be a member of the royalty.
