Electricity Consumption

LOWER INDUSTRIAL OUPUT led to reduced electricity consumption last year. In 2008, 3.8 percent less energy was consumed than in 2007. The greatest reduction in energy use was with the forest industry. Households, agriculture, services and the construction industry used about as much electricity last year as they did a year before.
