The dairy company Arla Ingman says that it is not getting enough milk from Finnish suppliers, and is therefore packaging milk imported from Sweden at its dairy in Hämeenlinna.

The farmers charge Arla Ingman of trying to cash in on the weak Swedish currency, the krona.

The MTK warns that seeking short-term profits from the devalued krona could have negative effects in the whole dairy sector in the long term.

CEO Robert Ingman denies that it is seeking quick profits, and says that the company plans to import Swedish milk for years to come.
