Last Day for Mailing Domestic Christmas Greetings

Persons who want to send out their Christmas cards to friends and family members in Finland must do so by Friday to ensure that they get there in time for the holiday.

Finland Post Corporation, Posti, says cards and envelopes with the 55-cent stamp destined for domestic addresses including the Åland Islands, as well as other EU countries and Switzerland will reach their destinations before Christmas if mailed by Friday December 14th.

Posti says that mailing of greeting cards in the red envelopes distributed to households will assist in delivery.

Second class mail, as well as greeting cards destined for other Nordic countries, will be delivered in time for the holiday is mailed by Monday December 17th.

Customers can purchase the 60-cent postage stamps in minimum quantities of 20.

First class greeting cards should be mailed by Wednesday December 19, if they are to reach loved ones before Christmas.
