"Heart Week" Urges Parents to Set Good Example

The Finnish Heart Association launched its annual Heart Week on Sunday for the 19th year. This year, the Association reminds parents how important it is for them to set a good example for their children when it comes to exercising, eating healthily, and not smoking.

The Association is also using this as a chance to praise the good start that school lunches give to growing youth.

"School food is one of the cornerstones of a healthy daily life. Enough time should be reserved for it, as for every meal. Lunch is a refreshing break from work for children as well as adults," says the Heart Association's head of development, Marjaana Lahti-Koski.
