Police in Vantaa Tuesday night emptied a house which was the location of a sizable arms cache.
Neighbouring evacuated residents have been allowed back to their homes and a nearby daycare centre has also reopened its doors.
Police started removing weapons from the home of an arms collector on Tuesday afternoon and the job took until the early hours of Wednesday. The haphazardly stored guns and other weaponry were discovered following an alarm call to the police.
The one-room apartment, occupied by a middle-age man, was found to contain over 150 guns, some illegal, as well as thousands of rounds of ammunition, gunpowder and grenades.
