Police Score Big in Drug Bust

Police in Helsinki say they have confiscated a record 26 kilos of amphetamines. In April, police took into custody two Estonian men caught trying to pick up the drugs from caches in the capital region.

The drugs are valued at about 500,000 euros and constitute around 150,000 doses.

Police say they found a satellite navigator in the suspects' car which pointed them to the drug caches.

The police investigation is ongoing. However, detectives say they think the drugs entered Finland from Estonia. Four men were arrested and two men taken into custody during the investigation.

The majority of drugs entering Finland from Estonia arrive by ship.
