The show is a collaboration between Aalto University and World Design Capital 2012 organisers, who promise that it will be covered by the international fashion press.

During the show, four new collections will be unveiled, designed by Saara Lepokorpi, Sasu Kauppi, R/H (Hanna Riiheläinen and Emilia Hernesniemi) and Ensaemble, led by Alisa Närvänen and Elina Peltonen.

All are alumni of Aalto University, as are established designers Paola Suhonen (Ivana Helsinki), Noora Niinikoski (design manager at Marimekko) and Tiia Vanhatapio. Final projects by current students are being shown before the new collections.

The event will be broadcast online for viewers in Finland beginning at 7pm Friday and on Yle Teema starting an hour later.
