The Restamax Group plans to open a total of about one dozen Wayne’s Coffee outlets across Finland, the vast majority by way of franchising agreements with entrepreneurs.
The Swedish-owned Wayne’s coffee chain pulled out of Finland during the spring, when the company which owned the license for the chain gave it up.
The first coffee shops will launch Tampere and Kuopio. The Kuopio outlet will be located in the new Matkus shopping centre which will open in Ikano at the end of the year.
The Restamax Group operates 50 restaurants and clubs across Finland, and employs some 600 workers. This year the company expects to bring in 56 million euros in sales.
