Midsummer traffic tapers off
Though many commuted to the countryside for Midsummer celebrations on Thursday, some traffic is still expected early on Friday, Midsummer Eve.

Most Finns left the cities for a long holiday weekend already on
Thursday, leading to traffic congestion and pile ups in places.
Midsummer traffic has run smoothly, apart
from a few accidents on Thursday. No fatal accidents have been reported.
