The Amorella, which had been out of service since it hit rocks following a power cut on Saturday 15 December, has arrived in Stockholm and runs the overnight journey to Turku.

Repair work was undertaken by the Rauma shipyard, which welded the damaged hull back into shape. Work took longer than expected, as the Amorella was expected to run the Turku to Stockholm service on Sunday morning, but was not ready in time.

It arrived in Stockholm at 5pm on Sunday before taking on passengers ahead of the journey back to Finland via Mariehamn.
