Forbes ranks Kone among top 50 most innovative companies

The prestigious US business publication Forbes has ranked the Finnish lifts and escalator company Kone in 42nd position in its list of the world’s innovative companies. It’s the company's fourth consecutive time on the Forbes list.

While Kone’s international ranking was 42nd out of 100, it was listed the sixth most innovative European company. No other Finnish companies made it to the Forbes list.

Last year Kone came in at 37th position on the list. This year’s ranking makes it the fourth consecutive year the company has made the 100 most innovative companies’ list.

Clothing manufacturer H&M from neighbouring Sweden ranked 74th, while lock systems provider Assa Abloy placed 93rd.
