Orders for equipment deliveries, totaling 70 million euros, for the project have been placed with two other Finnish firms, Valmet Paperikoneet Oy and Bellmer Vaahto Paper Machinery.
Following conversion, the capacity of the board machine will be 400,000 tonnes per annum. Primary products include a high-quality Nordic folding boxboard and recyclable barrier board for the food industry. The barrier board will be of a type that can be recycled without any special measures.
Work on the conversion project is to start at the beginning of next year.
