A high pressure system is holding its grip on the entire country this week - virtually all of Finland will see warm and sunny days. However, overnight temperatures could drop close to freezing in some areas, as well.
The sun will shine down through cloudless skies across the country, bringing with it temperatures between 20 and 25 degrees Celsius.
The warmest temperatures are expected in western areas. Parts of Lapland will also likely join summer with the rest of Finland and experience its first ‘hot’ day of the year on Tuesday. An official hot day is when the temperature reaches 25 degrees.
At the moment, it looks like the summer weather will continue at least for the rest of the week.
