Record temperatures of +30 degrees Celsius have been recorded every summer in Finland since 2010. This year that record has not yet been broken.
According to Yle meteorologist Marjo Hoikkanen, it's very possible that this summer's record temperatures will be set on Tuesday throughout most of the country, except Lapland.
In most parts of the country temperatures will reach about +28 to +29 degrees Celsius.
Utsjoki in Lapland hit +29.1 degrees Celsius last week and currently holds the hot spot record for this summer in Finland.
In addition to the very warm weather, there will also likely be rain and thunder showers during the afternoon on Tuesday.
