Friday morning has brought rain or intermittent showers to most parts of the country. By afternoon, the weather is expected to improve in southern and central regions, while rains continue in the east and north. Friday evening should be dry with partly clear skies in southern and central parts of the country.

Saturday's daytime forecast is for rain mainly in the east and north. Dry and partly sunny in the south and west, but with blustery winds.

The low pressure area that brought late-week stormy weather will be moving north on Sunday, drawing drier air in from the west. Sunday may be sunny in some areas, however in the south, the forecast is for cloudy skies and the chance of showers moving in from the southern Baltic rim.
