Honestly, fire I fuck w that🔥🔥🔥🔥
Am I the only one who thinks Sora barely looks like himself in the newest KH4 screenshots...? All the subtle stylization that made him feel like himself to me is all gone. Don't get me wrong, I'm not just nostalgic for the old models, I liked his KH3 one a lot and it had a similar modern look. He just looks so generic now :(

His spiky hair and his big ol eyes are gone😔
The idea of Xehanort and eraqus actually adopting Terra when he was just a kid it’s actually so funny to me, because imagine you hear your dads fight but actually this is like a falsettos situation where they only fight as a form of foreplay and then they get divorced, but you’re still a kid so you don’t know if they’re gonna make you play outside or if they’re being fr
my one concern with old man xehanort is like what if i break his hips or something. otherwise i'm sure a moogle can help synthesize up some shit to make it all work out (for a fee, but small price to pay etc). he's not bald it's a solar panel for a sex machine etc
HAHSHAHSHAHDJA WHAT
My respect that`s you are Old Man Xehanort simp and admit how gorgeous he is. I think the same. BUT I AM COWARD AND ASHAMED TO SAY THE SAME.....

LMAO NO WAY IT ACTUALLY GOT POSTED
Tbh I thought it was maybe crossing the line and it was too unhinged so it wouldn’t get posted😭
It makes me sad when people shame Donald for being a bad healer or smth, because like he's just doing his best. Also during kh1 and kh2 he saved my ass more times than I can count, and people always say he was at his worst in those games, so maybe they're just angry for no reason? Like goddamn I don't see you (abstract you) ever healing Donald or Goofy, and he uses his very limited chances to last Cure on healing Sora, so maybe stfu because he's doing better than you ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
~~~
The only complain I have about Donald gameplay wise, will always be that he dies to fast, besides that I always keep him on my team because he’s a fast healer, and my ass seems to not know blocking or using magic other than cure when desesperate
Kingdom Hearts is a well written piece of art. The idea that Kingdom Hearts is riddled with plot holes and retcons is perpetuated by a casual audience and a cynical fast-paced culture. An audience that doesn't have the time or patience to play though all of the games and fully process the connections being made.
This level of understanding, created though half-listening and misremembering, is parroted to groups that want to tear it down for entertainment. People who've decided, without seeing for themselves, that the story is dumb and overly convoluted. That a "children's game" with 20 years of continuous narrative is bad because they can't understand it with a loose, poorly told summary.
The narrative surrounding Kingdom Hearts is poisoning the narrative contained within it. There is a bias of bad faith shared by millions of people. The story being told is that Kingdom Hearts is a bad story. That Tetusya Nomura is a bad storyteller. This effects how people respond to his style of writing.
Nomura will give the player a question, and the question won't be answered for a long time. (15 years sometimes) The player will then assume there ISN'T an answer. That if the story conflicts with what they know, that the AUTHOR is wrong and NOT the narrator. They don't ask how. They don't ask why. They just say "WRONG".
Kingdom Hearts isn't perfect, but in my experience, every twist is foreshadowed. Every plot point is precendented by prior events, parallels, and well placed symbolism. There is a purpose for what is said and what is done. There is an overarching plan for the story, and it's been around since day one. The answers will come, but they take time.
There is reason not to engage. This story is as old as I am, and unfortunately there have been and will continue to be people who die before they see it end. But there isn't much longer to go. The Lost Master Arc has its pieces in place and they'll be all put together soon. I predict the story will end with Kingdom Hearts V before 2035. Five Acts. Like a Shakespeare play.
But, before that, and I'm calling it now, we'll get Missing-Link, KH4, Re:Union χ [Cross], a cutscene compilation of Dark Road, Verum Rex, maybe a movie?, another side game, and a book.
The series is a time commitment. There is a TON to remember. But it IS made with care, and if you decide to play it and pay attention to it, the story can be very rewarding.
I would like to add that even when things seem confusing within the story, the characters always make a point to explain what’s happening, or what is going on, etc.
An example of this is in kh3, where there is an ENTIRE cutscene dedicated to Riku and Mickey, literally explaining and summarizing every version of Xehanort.
Truly, just pay attention.
Pay attention, and if you didn’t get it, watch the cutscene again, I promise you the answers are right there.
