There’s Mermaids which is always a great option, and then Scotland-specific there’s LGBT Youth Scotland, to give you just a couple. There will absolutely be more that other people can suggest though!
trans aid cymru is a mutual aid group rather than a charity but ill always shout them out for wales specific trans community support! they have a donation page here
Scottish Trans Alliance do good work, and more locally to me and also locally to the evil billionaire funding so much of this (we are deeply uneasy neighbours I live in constant fear of seeing her) and also Parliament, Resisting Transphobia in Edinburgh do a lot of community work. Resistance is everywhere, both national and local, official and grassroots, and if you have no money spare to donate then you can donate time, if you have neither you can - you Must - reach out to even just one trans person near you, because community starts with smiling at your neighbours, knowing names, noticing if they’re struggling. I survived thanks to one queer person I never knew the name of and spoke barely one sentence to taking 10 minutes out of their day to drop off an LGBTQ youth centre flier for me back in 2016. It starts small. It moves mountains. We are not budging an inch. I love you.

for uk orgonizations you can donate to the trans legal clinic, or galop, which supports lgbtq+ people who survived domestic abuse, or transactual, which also does legal and medical advocacy. if you are in the uk and youre cis, go out and protest and defend them when you arent the target. see what the trans women in your life need right now and join them doing the work. if you are a trans woman in the uk and have like a paypal or anything, feel free to drop it in the reblogs!

I think my favorite part about the lawyer Peter headcanon (beyond the fact that it is really hot of him to be a lawyer) is the way TV always makes cops and defense attorneys seem like mortal enemies.
I am simply obsessed with the idea that the sheriff can see past Peter being a werewolf, he can compartmentalize the murders on account of Peter’s insanity at the time, he can see past the age difference on account of the 10 year age gap between himself and Claudia too… but a lawyer? His son is dating a lawyer?
And especially if pre-fire Peter used to make the sheriff’s life particularly hard, so it’s not just the general law enforcement v lawyer but it is deeply personal. Noah still holds a grudge about the criminals Peter got off the hook.
Added bonus if Peter is desperate for Noah’s approval, because he knows how important the sheriff is to Stiles and nothing will ever be more important to Peter than Stiles’ happiness. If Noah disapproves, Stiles won’t be happy, so he has to fix that.
Noah : I can forgive a lot of things Stiles, but a lawyer? Seriously?
