Their purpose, way of application, formula and consistency is also very different. Setting powder is used to set creams and lock them in. Finishing powders are used to finish a look (think FILTER at the end of makeup). Finishing powders should not (❌) be used to set the face. A few makeup tips to remember: - pick a setting powder without Silica to avoid flashback - the shade of setting powder matters, too light and it could look ashy - start applying setting powder with brush and then with puff for extra coverage - finishing powders are like “salt” in a recipe, a little at the end - finishing powders help b Nyx Finishing Powder, Makeup Tutorial Setting Powder, Elf Finishing Powder, Elf Halo Setting Powder, Where Do You Put Setting Powder On Your Face, Using Setting Powder, How To Put On Setting Powder, Where To Apply Setting Powder, Finishing Powder How To Use

Setting powder before foundation: if you want longer lasting makeup, use some setting powder after your primer, before you apply foundation especially on your T zone or areas where you are oily. This will prevent oils from seeping into your foundation and melting off your makeup. 2. Spray some setting spray on your beauty sponge and use it to blend in your concealer. This will result in a smudge proof seamless undereye. 3. Use your foundation as a spot concealer on days you don’t feel like doing full coverage. Finish it up with some setting powder and spray, and you’ll have a skin like finish. - Don’t forget to save + follow for more makeup tips!
