Margaux Follis on Instagram: "~ DIY ARCH NICHE ~
So I decided to trust my stud finder again after my little shelf accident few weeks ago, and created a very fancy arch niche. I was very impressed at how easy it actually is, thought it would be much harder. The most daunting part was to cut the wall but my little plasterboard saw did a magnificent work, with my help of course 😋
It is a very stylish alternative to wall art, you can pop a little vessel in there or any decor piece that fits, and if you feel confident enough you can create a set of them with different sizes and shapes 👌🏼
I am not sure how much it cost me because I had everything at home but it’s definitely a cheap way to create an accent wall and display all your fancy vases (mine is $15 from Kmart 🤫)

Last time I made my green arched cabinet almost a year ago, I made a TON of kerf cuts on some 3/4” plywood and steamed it in order for it to bend like this. This time around, I’m using bendable plywood that I got from my local lumber warehouse and my goodness, it made my life so much easier! 🙌🏻 I used the thinner 3mm ply for the inside because in my opinion, it’s too thin to put on the outside. Then used the 9mm ply for the outside. They were pretty bendy and flexible, so I didn’t have to fight with it when installing! Next up, let’s make these arched doors using the other half of the ring I cut out of MDF (the first half was used to make Build Arched Cabinet, Plywood Craft Ideas, Arch Shelf Diy, Adding Arch To Bookcase, Diy Arched Shelves, Arched Cabinet Ikea Hack, Arch Cabinet Doors, Arch Cabinet Built In, Diy Rounded Cabinet

Kerry & Brenda | DIY besties on Instagram: "These arched shelves for the builtins are done! We used 3/4” plywood to make the arches and attached the arch to 1x3” poplar boards using pocket holes to create three face frame and used 1x2’s across the front of the shelves. We filled the nail holes with wood filler, used bondo to cover the countersunk screws on the sides and caulked all the inside seams. Then we painted using our spray gun. We can’t wait to install these next week! Follow along as we finish these built ins and for all of our other DIY projects! Katie Fischer on Instagram: "Transformed an awkward little corner with an arched shelf, and it made such a difference! It’s easier than it might look – starting with a solid plan and sketching out the idea (digitally or on paper). Based on that, I built a wooden frame, attached plasterboard, plastered, and sanded it down. Et voilà! #diy #wohnzimmer #livingroomdecor #livingroomideas #cozyhome #wabisabi #neutralhome #neutraldecor #homedecor #interiorstyling #interiordecor" Arched Shelf, Neutral Decor, Wabi Sabi, Cozy House, Wooden Frame, Wooden Frames, Interior Styling, Living Room Decor, Interior Decorating
