Aryabhata, also called Aryabhata I or Aryabhata the Elder, (born 476, possibly Ashmaka or Kusumapura, India), astronomer and the earliest Indian mathematician whose work and history are available to modern scholars. The man who contributed to the development of mathematics and science is now forgotten by our leaders. He invented Zero, given the number system, the value of Pi, and many more things.
