✨ When cooking beans on the stove, you want to soak them in water overnight to shorten the cooking time. I like to add some fresh thyme and garlic to mine during this step for a better flavor. 

✨I like to make my with andouille sausage and smoked Turkey necks, but some people use smoked ham hocks instead, but you do what you prefer. 

✨ Since I’m cooking this on the stovetop, I like to cook the beans with the meat. So once the beans are done, then the meat will be fall off the bone tender. 

✨After letting it simmer on low for a few hours, I like to finish it off with a few tablespoons of butter afterwards.
