Burberry opens a pop-up store at Tokyo's Isetan department store to introduce its new Monogram Collection to the Japanese market.

There’s something wonderfully holistic about having a bite to eat after a session of energetic shopping. More so when the menu is a brand continuation of the said retail therapy. Exhibit A is Burberry’s cozy all-day café. Located in the corner of the extended Regent Street store, the light-washed Thomas’s – named after Burberry’s founder – was conceived by the label’s CEO and creative director Christopher Bailey.

British luxury fashion house Burberry saw an 18 per cent increase in comparable store sales in Q1 FY24, driven by 46 per cent sales growth in Mainland China. Key categories, outerwear and leather goods, saw sales increase of 36 per cent and 13 per cent respectively. The company’s retail revenue rose to £589 million in Q1 FY24, a 17 per cent increase YoY.
