This is a more advanced tutorial, where you can see the full process of creating something like this. Using 3D layers in AE might be scary at first, but it’s super straightforward. Think of it as you’re filming the book - you need a camera, movement, lights. The 3D camera acts as any camera in real life. I didn’t add a light in the animation, so I don’t overcomplicate the tutorial. But I would if I was creating this for a client. You can also film on any lens/phone but the effect of a finger going up close to the lens (POV of a phone/screen)looks better on wider lenses 3. Screen record an app, in this case, Spotify. 4. Try your best to match the motions of the original video. 5. You can screen record any app/screen but keep in mind the background colour, since you’ll need to key it out (discussed later) or use a blend mode. Editing 🧑‍💻 1. First thing I did is matching the Spotify screen with the main footage. Getting the timing right as well as the position of the finger and where it will press. 2. Two ways to remove the background.
