No matter how much you love someone, you don't have the power to make them give up a behavior they are not ready to relinquish.

As a Mother of an addict I've had to face choices that I never imagined and learn things that felt so far out of the realm of normal, but that becomes the new normal. Don't judge the choices made by the heartbroken, each person needs to protect their heart and soul.
