These little beauties are very carefully hand painted with traditional Christmas colors of red, green and white, with patterns. I spend many hours and days, searching the woods for perfect acorns! Then to preserve them, they are cleaned in bleach water and baked for several hours to dry and kill the insects inside. Once they are dry, I attach them to trays and hand wash each one again.
