(hit L key) On May 10, 1869 a special ceremony took place in Promontory, Utah, USA where two railroads met that completed a track that went from the Atlantic Ocean on the east to the Pacific ocean on the west. A span of approximately 3000 miles. This engine is an exact full size and fully functioning duplicate of one of the engines that met on that occasion.
