1. There are usually two things the bumps can be: clogged pores or fungal acne, or a mix of both (always fun).

2. It’s more likely to be fungal acne if they suddenly appeared out of nowhere, are itchy or have spread quickly. It’s more likely to be clogged pores if you’ve gotten them gradually over time and acne products do work on them.

3. Fungal acne triggers are: heat, humidity, sweat. For example, wearing a hat on holiday can cause it, though it’s not always caused this way. Clogged pores are caused by: not cleansing properly or using products your skin disagrees with (or both!).
