A simple free pattern to knit a gnome hat - a perfect first knit for everyone! Raising my children in a Waldorf inspired homeschool community, the little gnomes scampering about were a common site. When they began knitting, these hats were one of their first projects. Not only are they quite simple, they are with super bulky yarn and large needles, making them a super quick knit for an adult or a reasonable undertaking for little hands.
