These mango sticky rice oats are inspired by the lovely flavors from the impeccable Thai dessert, but adapted a bit to make it a simple breakfast. The oatmeal is cooked with chia seeds and a little coconut milk on the stove. Then it's topped off with a thicker coconut sauce, mangos, black sesame seeds, sea salt, and a hint of chili powder.

2 cups glutinous rice
1 1/3 cup water
1 youtiao Chinese Cruller
Meat floss
Preserved mustard stems
1/2 cup preserved mustard stem 
1 tbsp sugar
1 chili chopped(optional)
1 clove garlic minced
sesame oil optional

Optional fillings
Chinese sausage (add in after cooked)

INSTRUCTIONS

STICKY RICE:
Stovetop steamer: Rinse the sticky rice and add it to a bowl with enough water to cover 2 to 3 inches. Let the rice soak for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours. After soaking, drain the rice and add it to a steamer lined with cheesecloth. Cover and steam the rice over Fan Tuan, Meat Floss, Pickled Radish, Sushi Mat, Sausage Rice, Rice Wraps, Rice Rolls, Chinese Sausage, Sushi Roll
